Short-cycle systems
META TABLE series
This product is a short-cycle sputtering system which is used to metallise 3-D plastic parts and can be specifically integrated into fully automated production lines. A magnetron sputter source as its main component guarantees the evaporation coating's high quality. Powerful pumps and an adapted handling system ensure short process times. Parallel, horizontal substrate transport, small floor space and ease of maintenance are further advantages of the plant that will convince users of its worth.
Optional accessories make the plant a real all-rounder.

META ROT series
The META ROT is a flexible, horizontal short-cycle system for the metallisation of plastic parts including the application of a protective coating and is designed for use in assembly lines. The substrate carriers have an envelopping circle of approx. 500 mm and a maximum useful coating length of 2,040 mm. The batch time is approx. four minutes for a typical coating (Al / protective coating). A high-performance sputtering unit is used for the metallisation process. Besides aluminium as the standard target material, other metals such as the Cu, CrNi, Cr, Ag and stainless steel can also be used.
The plant concept allows the customer-specific adjustment of the plant dimensions to existing substrate carriers.

META CIRCLE series
The META CIRCLE is a fully automated, 5-chamber sputter system especially developed for integration into assembly lines. The parts are transported horizontally via a transport conveyor. The parts holding and masking requirements are thus minimised. A system-internal 180° transfer device takes over the pallet with the parts and transfers it to a vacuum sluice chamber. From there the pallet is further transported into the annular vacuum chamber and into the process chambers in short step cycles. The process chambers include all the components necessary for the respective coating process (pre-treatment - metallisation - protective coating). Since the process steps are performed in parallel, a coated pallet can leave the plant every 38 seconds and a new one can be fed into the coating process. The vacuum pump systems and required control cabinets are located above the annular chamber.
