Metallisation - requirements
Not all plastic or other materials are suitable for a metallisation process. Materials to be metallised must meet the following requirements:
- Low out-gassing rate
- Thermal stability > 60°C
- Clean surface free of oil/grease and release agents
- Suitable geometry
- Good wettability for primer (if necessary)
